I would want Schwartz but this is what Kyle will do promote Bradley. Heck he promoted Nick Sorenson.

He can't be that desperate to be a HC again?

It is the highest position that a coach can achieve. Unless, he pines to be a GM or owner.

Not only that but he's the highest or one of the highest paid DCs at 4.5 mil a year.

Top level HC's are getting 15 mil a year. Harbaugh just got 20 a year for 5 years.

1/3rd of the league needs a HC now . Saleh needs to go for it.

He won't sniff anywhere near 15 million a year

I don't think he will take just any job after his experience with the Jets. I doubt he would want AZ or Browns for example. Now the Steelers, Bills, Ravens are attractive.

If he has a solid 5 years as a HC. You better believe he could get 10 mil a year on his next deal.

Agreed. Would hope he learned from his first head coaching job. Cursed franchises can't be saved.

He might do it because next offseason would be slim pickings. Almost a third of the league relieved their head coaches this year, who's on the hot seat for next year ?

There are jobs every year though. Does he just want the title or a chance to actually be successful?

It is a unique field where you may not get a chance tomorrow. You can't assume it will always work out in your favor.

Its Arizona. The Arizona that's in the NFC West. Against McVay, McDonald, and Shanahan. That isn't a chance. Thats another early firing and a nice payout.

I know there are guys that never got a shot again but the mere fact that he has all of this interest shows the jobs would be there again. And this is coming off an unsuccessful Jets tenure and a remarkable but not statistically great season as DC.

But those 5 years never happen if he takes a s**t job and as of now he isn't in contention for any of the good jobs.
Historically minority coaches rarely get 2nd chances. Even if it's a s**t job he can't pass it up. Hope things have changed
