How do you get a HC gig after this travesty of a Defense? Of course it is not all his fault, but there is nothing this year that shows how he made it better than it should be.

I wish Saleh would stick around, but it's clear that he is only here for a limited time. This is a good offseason for him to depart since there's a lot of good candidates available right now.

I concur. Consistently inconsistent on all 3 levels of the defense this year. Confused LBs and secondary never got better throughout the season. I wonder how this year compares with last year's defense.

I concur. Consistently inconsistent on all 3 levels of the defense this year. Confused LBs and secondary never got better throughout the season. I wonder how this year compares with last year's defense.

I'm not saying he is a bad DC since I have seen him do great with a great unit. But there is nothing from THIS YEAR where a team can look at him and go, "Yes he made that unit a lot better than it should of been and he deserves to be a HC".

Yes, I agree. I'm saying he showed that he's an average DC and really didn't improve upon last year.

No. The Lions couldn't block Ben Johnson going to the Bears. Saleh shouldn't do this for two reasons.

1. It's the Cardinals. He saw first hand he alone could not overcome a trash franchise, even with good drafting.

2. Does he want to go up against McVay, Shanahan, and McDonald year in and out?

Sorenson had all the horses and led a terrible D. Saleh has none and still has churned out good performances.
