He just makes great adjustments throughout the game, almost immediately. So impressed with what he and the defensive staff have done.
Beyond his calls, he just brings an excitement to the boys and I guarantee they feed off that. Look at the camera panning to him throughout the game/how he reacts to big plays. He is living vicariously through the players and it shows

It's no coincidence that Shanny is having his best season as a HC with Saleh back. He's finally got someone in the building that he completely trusts to run the defense.
Saleh will be a head coach again. He's too good of a coach and too young in his career to already limit himself to just being a defensive coordinator.

Yeah, but I selfishly wish for a Spagnuolo type situation with him. How many times did he fail as a HC before essentially getting blacklisted?

Last week pts given: 9
This week pts given: 8
It was against Young and Sanders, but they're still nfl teams. Great Job Saleh! stack it up!

One random yet underappreciated strength of the defense this year has been run defense in short yardage. It's been game changing, going back to the OT win in SoFi.

The Panthers game looks pretty good now since Young didn't look too bad against the Rams or Falcons in the two games surrounding our game against them. Also we gave them the ball twice deep in our territory.

Saleh gonna get a HC gig this offseason? Man if I were him I would be picky since this is his last chance.
if he goes I'd be all over Jim Schwartz. Got a feeling the Browns are gonna blow up everything.

100%, he'll have a few HC opportunities available for him this offseason. Saleh and Pittsburgh is a good attitude and cultural fit if they fire Mike Tomlin. They have some big pieces on that defense already. I just don't know if he wants to go somewhere without an established QB.
49ers are just going to promote Gus Bradley to DC if Saleh leaves.

Just that one run with Rams. Saleh is a good coach, a great defensive coach who we all saw grow before our eyes.
While he turned that Jets defense into a valid unit, saying he botched the offense is putting it lightly. He mismanaged Wilson something special and it wasn't pretty. The Jets owner is a dumbass as well.
After what he went through with the Jets I would imagine he would be far more critical of where he goes next.

Holy crap, I could have sworn he had other HC gigs. Wonder why he never got another shot.
At any rate, I don't want to root against what may be best for Saleh, but damn it would be nice to keep him and Kyle together for as long as possible. I don't place any of the offensive woes on him, Rodgers basically torpedoed his chances there, and the FO went along with it.

Robert Saleh was asked on a s scale of 1-10, how much does he want to be a head coach again:

Saleh gets alot of credit for how our defense plays, but I feel like another person we're not giving credit to and deserves some is Gus Bradley. I feel he helps with the game plan, and gets everyone on the defensive side ready for game days.

Whe Kyle first came here, I was hoping for Bradley. Now he is here and I think he's the development plan for Kyle. If Saleh leaves, there is a system guy who knows the players and expectations that's ready to step in.
We are in good hands but having both is awesome and I hope he lasts longer than just this year. Unlikely, but I can hope. lol
