He knew what he was getting into from the start. He knew he would have no power over the roster and that would be Baalke's area.

He also had a very tough schedule this year. Much tougher than Tomsula did. The offence was visibly more organised and he started fast which did not happen last year under Tomsula.

The team was also smashed up with injuries this year. 20 on IR. the team had its second and third stringers propping up a very few first stringers.

Unfortunately, Jed is backed into a wall and cannot take the full circumstance Kelly faced into account because the team needs a new GM and a new GM has to pick the HC for us to get a good GM. It is a hard reality to face but that is what it is. I a, happy he is going to be paid well.
