Dude is clearly garbage how can he lose an actual game.
I've had the same thought myself for awhile and it would fit Harbaugh perfectly, he'd get a chance at revenge versus the 49ers, as well as the opportunity to whoop Carroll's ass but right now I think Indy is a better fit if Pagano and Grigson can hang on for one more season. He goes over to the Colts where he played as quarterback, he gets his quarterback from college, probably his own hand-picked GM, might bring the band back together with Fangio and the rest considering the Bears staff looks to be on shaky ground as well. He'd also get to be closer to his roots, his brother, his parents....etc.

I don't see him leaving Michigan, possibly ever. He's an elite NFL caliber HC, no doubt. But he's set up like a King there at UM. I don't think there's an NFL job that can compete with what he's got there imo.

There is no competition in college, only two or three top teams. We know how much Harbaugh like to compete. I could see him getting bored beating teams 62-0.

Harbaughs greatest heroes are college coaches. I can see him very much liking the idea of making Michigan a power house dynasty with multiple championships.

Harbaugh doesn't win Championships doe.

But they'll be a great program as long as he's there.
Harbs aint coming back to the NFL. He knows Carrol would continue to own his ass and Harbs cannot handle that...

Oh that s**t is gonna happen!

And he won't burn out in 4 years either. He'll stick around for 10 years beating the s**t outta the 49ers. Hell, He'll probably get Carroll Pete to get firef too, as the seapukes will be declining and Jim will beat them down at that point.

This would be the icing on the 49ers upside-down cake.
Well now that he's not going undefeated and likely wont get to the National Championship game, the chances decreased greatly that he would leave in 2017 since he would still have "unfinished business". 2018? We'll have to wait and see

I really hope he doesn't go to the Lambs!!!
Rams?!

I think he has a better shot at going to Indy and coaching another team he played for, and reuniting with Luck.

i dont think it changes anything in terms of national championship

they still have to bear oh st to get in playoffs admittedly though both oh st and alabama are more talented but with their D they should still have a chance
I don't see Jim leaving until he gets that ring, and at the rate he is going that will be next year. There may be better minds (Bellicheck), more charismatic (Pete the Cheat) , more strategic (Saban) but no coach this more driven my motivation than Jim. This mistake could haunt the 49ers for longer than any of us expect. I know Jim wasn't perfect but damn his perfect for this team and community.

Agree.

13-3 without an offseason following 6-10 is pretty impressive no matter how you cut it.

He's staying at Michigan at least until his kids grow up.
