That would be great honestly.

It will be interesting to see how McDonald handles his staff being pillaged. We are certainly familiar with that. Will the next guy be closer to Kubiak or Ryan Grubbs? Hopefully they are figuring that out while dealing with the Super Bowl hangover. As for the massive contracts? they have about 90 million in cap space, so that shouldn't be much of a deterrent unfortunately.

Lets be real...for every team not named the Chiefs or Patriots...every SB appearance is a win it or bust.

I'd be okay with Bezos buying the team. Just because his leadership style takes risks, does allow projects to have a multi year approach towards success, and then quickly cuts bad investments if it does not pan out. The people who really hate Bezos in the area, are generally not football fans, so I'm not worried about him potentially destroying the fanbase.

I read potential suitors included Bill Gates and Steve Ballmer. I don't know much about Ballmer, but Gates probably gonna lay low these days.

I think it winds up being Jody Allen.

I suspect the Allen estate would shoot down any involvement by Bill Gates.

Regarding Bill Gates is that your thought because of the recent connections surrounding Bill Gates or did Paul Allen have some kind of beef with him post Microsoft (I actually don't know).

I looked up Jody Allen has a potential Net Worth of $20B, if that's remotely accurate, I'm guessing the $6-$7B price tag is too much of her worth. Although that would be interesting that the NFL is pushing her to sell as executor of the trust only to buy it herself, although I'm sure that would be some kind of conflict of interest as the executor. If Jody Allen is able to be a buyer though, yeah I'd definitely prefer her over anyone else listed. She's done a good job at least publicly staying out of the teams affairs and writing/saying the right things as an owner while having enough heavy undertones for fans to figure out the story. i.e. her statement when Russell was traded ""We look forward to welcoming our new players and to everyone being fully engaged while working our hardest to win every single day. I trust our leadership to take us into the future, and know we all wish Russell the very best".

Just speculation on the Gates/Epstein goings on. I never heard of any beef between the two, just think the Allen estate wouldn't want to tie one of his legacies to a pedo.

I thought the same thing about Jody Allen and her net worth, vs. the team value, but she has the 5th highest Net worth of all current NFL owners (according to Forbes). So I'm not sure how worth vs. team value calculates? She seems to have done a pretty damn good job since taking the chair. Has kind of continued Paul Allen's role of paying the bills, hiring football people to football and stay out of the way for the most part. She made some pretty tough decisions, with Carrol, and they have worked out.
What annoys me most about the "12s" is all the undue credit people give them for being loud. They're no louder than any other fanbase. Their stadium is designed specifically to trap in and amplify crowd noise. Yet they love to pat themselves on the back for what is essentially a marketing campaign by the org to sell jerseys with the number 12 on it and "Fan" on the back. It's absurd and corny.

If you want to call yourself the "12s" that's all fine and good every fanbase has a nickname. But don't kid yourselves thinking you guys are special because you aren't.

Oh, you haven't heard? The people of Seattle have evolved over time to have the amazing ability to yell louder than other humans from other cities in the country. It's quite amazing actually.

Yeah, the #12 jersey with the word fan on the back is lame and corny AF. I guess it would be just as embarrassing to wear a Niners jersey that says Faithful on the nameplate with the #49 or something.

In fairness faithful 49 jerseys are dumb as well. We have plenty of legends to choose from to buy your jersey. Fortunately it's not as common to see that amongst our fans
Emmanwori coming up hurt yesterday and limping into their hotel last night isn't good for Seattle.

Think they have 3-4 players that would very legitimately effect their chances to win the SB if they can't play, and he is one of them. Will be interesting to see where this one goes.

I will say they are more trained on WHEN to make noise than most other fan bases. Most crowds get loud when the offense is at the line of scrimmage. Fans here in Seattle are just constantly loud between downs, making it harder in the huddle as well as at the line.

As the season progressed, he became a pivotal piece in the defense. Without him, MacDonald's scheme looses some of its ability to confuse an offense, to say nothing of the fact the guy hits like a freight train. I don't see it effecting the overall outcome but it might impact the spread.

Personally, I hate that the 12 jersey says "fan" on the back. It looks stupid as hell. I don't mind the 12 jersey itself being for the fans, but I do what I can to change that name plate to say something else whether it's zaghawk, seahawks, go hawks, etc.

As for faithful, i feel like that nickname sets your fanbase up for ridicule because naturally any game for any team that looks like a guaranteed loss will have fans leaving early and then all you need is someone taking a picture or video in this social media day and age of fans leaving a stadium to say "I tHoUgHt ThEy WeRe FaItHfUl!"...I'm not gonna pretend like I don't enjoy that ridicule as a rival fan when the opportunity arises.

As for the Seahawk fan base being loud. A human, is a human, is a human. Just because you say the 12s/seahawk fanbase thinks that we have some special human talent for yelling over fanbases, does not mean it's true. From an objective (as objective as I can be) standpoint, the stadium, the fan base, and a strong on defense seahawks team all compliment each other. 1) the stadium is designed to bring noise to the field that's clearly documented 2) defenses get a small edge when it's loud 3) the hype a of both has created a culture within the stadium for even the most casual seahawks football fans to understand at games on defense you yell and on offense...STFU, and heck even if you don't know this stuff...you quickly learn this within the first quarter of the game around other fans who do then it's just mob mentality when everyone is doing it, you feel safer to do it yourself vs when people around you are quiet...a lot of the casual fans will quiet down because well the energy isn't there and the insecurity you're pissing off other people.

So is a Seahawks fan any louder than other fanbases from a genetic level, no. Does the stadium help? yes. Does the seahawk fan base have a culture better than other fanbases to know when to get loud and when not to...yes. You can hear it on TV, and if you have been to a competitive game live, you gotta be lying to yourself that it doesn't exist). When the Seahawks (especially defense) is playing well, pretty much all game, the fanbase will get loud not just on 3rd or 4th down, but all four downs. They also start their noise from the second the offense huddles (etc.) You watch other games for other teams and typically the crowd noise suddenly only shows up on 3rd and 4th down and at the line up not from the huddle. Is this culture something that can only exist for the Seahawks fanbase living in Seattle...absolutely not, but it was created and fed by smart stadium design, marketing, and choosing a defensive new HC over an offensive one (PCs defense became less of a factor on his way out, maybe the Russ factor, maybe the DK factor, who knows).

Thanks for reading my tedtalk
The Seahawk fan in our group is hosting the SB party, need to bring some food so I am tearing up 1/4 loaf of stale bread and will throw the pieces to the hawk fans
