My Hawks are still one more draft away from competing with the 49ers but making the playoffs with 9 rookie starters was unexpected and a pleasant surprise. I'm thinking 10 wins minimum next year. I like Tyree Wilson though. I hope he'll be available at 5 if not trade back. There's only 3 difference makers on the D line this year in Wilson, Anderson and Carter. Take Carter off the table though there's no way Pete and John would make such a red flag pick in the top 5. I mean look at Reuben Foster his draft stock plummeted after he slapped the nurse at the combine but for whatever reason Lynch still wanted him lol

Anything you write Frodo, including two more new threads today about Trey on your .Net forum is beyond funny now. Its quite bizarre. Lynch is an executive paid to make executive decisions. You seem to be fixated on the Trey draft because its the only questionable move Lynch made according to you but let me remind you that the three NFC title games in four years are also a result of Lynch's executive decisions. You are quite simply a moron.

Who are the other 5? Are you also referring to rooks who were forced to start certain games due to injury/

Mafe', Bryant, Young all started at times and all logged a lot of time and were productive. The only way to build in this league is through the draft. Free agency just puts an expensive bandaid on and most aren't worth their contracts like Dee Ford. He's a $9 million dollar cap hit next year and he isn't even on the roster.

Seahawks went 3-6 down the stretch. Geno had 8 INT and 5 fumbles in their last 8 games. Doesn't include Pick 6 against niners that was overturned on a BS penalty on Bosa.

Also, gonna go out on a limb and say he didn't play the niners all those games

that's true.. and to be fair.. it's one of the most QB friendly teams out there

DK and Lockett are elite receivers
good run game
they got the tackles figured out in the draft

irony is Russ ran away from a great situation and got exposed big time

in a sense Geno had em over a barrel, can't put up over 4k, playoffs and hit 70% and the team gets stingy at contract time, that kind of year in a contract year gets you an extension

Great move. $35 mil per is dirt cheap for a top 10 quarterback. Now the can focus on needs in the draft
