But they didn't. Lamar Jackson isn't getting a fully guaranteed deal, teams are just chalking it up to the Browns being morons. Completely
reasonable.

i like how every post the level moves up it will be 6D chess soon

Paraphrasing some Browns fans I know...

The Browns are a polymathic moral-physical spiritual entity deeply in tune with transcendental relativity. The Haslam family has been the steward of E=mc2 as made known to Emil Haslam in 1892 after being visited by angels in a dream and waking to find the mysterious equation written on one of five golden plates. While the language of the first four plates is known only to a small inner circle, it has been publicly shared that these are now understood to reference the prophets Brady Quinn, Brandon Wheedon, Johnny Manziel, and Baker Mayfield who were sent to prepare the way for the great savior. In 2021 the wise numerologists of Cleveland began to see signs of The One and through careful deliberation deduced the long-sought meaning of the 5th plate. Enlightenment = Massage therapists violated x Contract dollars guaranteed to the second power.

To ascribe "dimensions" to this manifestion of the meaning of life is simply a sign of a limited mind.

Lamar to a team: "Yeah but the Browns gave Watson a million-zillion dollars guaranteed!".

Team to Lamar: "Go talk to the Browns then. You might get lucky."

While paying him $200 mil guaranteed. lol
This dude played his absolute best because John tailored the team to his strengths. He goes anywhere else he probably sucks. He's also probably already at his ceiling and will only get worse as he loses speed and athleticism with his body wearing down.

Purdy and lance both have more potential than this guy because they can at least keep their eyes down field the whole time before they take off and run. They can both throw a better pass than him also.

He's like a more athletic Tebow.

Oh give me a break, Jackson is a far better passer than Tebow ever was, not even in the same ballpark. The things I worry about with Jackson is that while he's a quality passer, he is a much better runner and really needs that part of his game to hold up to stay as a high level threat. I worry about his frequency of injuries, he's been constantly dinged up over the past few years and has seemingly been regressing since 2019.

He deserves a franchise level QB salary but all this stuff about a guaranteed contract or breaking the QB market, nah. He's not that guy.

I'll give you another one. He's a worse version of rg3 with better luck because he's on the ravens instead of the redskins. If he leaves Baltimore the same story as rg3 could play out easily. In fact I'd bank on him being worse because he's not as good as rg3 was.

He's worth slightly more than Geno Smith who just got overpaid. Geno should not have got more than 20 a year.

I think realistically and honestly you could make a SB run with Lamar paying him 25-27 a year. Any more than that your hamstringing your team because he's eating too much cap.

He will get more than that for sure but I can guarantee he won't win a SB eating that much of the cap.
What the f**k wow people are just gonna keep beating this Lamar to the Niners into the f**king ground till it kills them. I'm so over this s**t already.

lol I saw a tweet where Lamar replied to about trade rumors....... so funny If I can find it i'll post it here...
Jackson here would be god mode, assuming he doesn't get hurt (lol)
Deebo and Trey for Lamar, that's the most I'd give. We can then extend Aiyuk.

Why? If anything Deebo's value would increase and Aiyuk's would decrease if they brought Jackson.
Aiyuk would be a terrible pairing with Jackson.

I would LOVE Lamar Jackson on the Niners but it's not happening. I'd trade Bosa + Lance/Purdy for Lamar. Lamar will put us as favorites for SB and we can contend with him for next 5-7 years.

That Ravens roster sucked ass and he'd win with that. Shanahan and Lamar would wreck NFC for years.

But, I just don't see Niners going all in like that.
