Report: Pats 'putting pressure' on Garoppolo

The Boston Herald reports the Patriots are "putting pressure" on Jimmy Garoppolo (shoulder) to be ready for Thursday's game, and have "(reminded) him Tom Brady played through a similar injury on multiple occasions throughout his career."

Beginning of a fractured relationship?

He needs an organization that doesn't force players to play injured! Like the 49ers! Right Anthony Davis? Right Kaepernick? Right Borland? Right!

Dilfer baalke leaked it...who else would do it
No matter who is the QB in New England, they're always good. I don't know if Garrapolo is that good or just a player in the system. However, since he's out for tonight's game, we will see if their rookie QB will perform similarly to Garrapolo.
Bill Belichick will prove next week that he can even make Julian Edelman a winning QB. Never trust any fill-in from that system.
Niners should make the trade for Garrapolo
I think it's the system and belli more but I would like to trade for a good qb that chip will make look better rather than wait for a rookie to develop and might be good or bad. We don't have the luck to have a top draft pick with great qb prospects available like other s**tty teams. (See luck or cam or Wentz) so if we don't trade for a good qb we have to probably trade quite a few picks to move up and get the top qb available in the draft. I'm assuming we draft 4-10 range

QB is just that important of a position.

If Belichick is willing to trade Garoppolo, let him fleece someone else, IMO.

Bill may have just as short of a window as Brady. They may value that one last SB run over him. Considering what Denver is doing with Sieman take the pick. System qb is system qb either way he turns out in a different system.

He reads D' well, quick release, good footwork, poise in pocket, nice touch on deep balls and dump offs
can zip it too, solid runner

I was a fan of his in the draft, Pats got em in the 2nd, so he's not some late round project

In my dream world... Niners fire Baalke, Promote Gamble, and trade for Jimmy the next day (not our first pick though)

Highly doubt the patriots let this guy go. Brady isn't going to play forever.

Non story IMO. This is Belichick being Belichick and making Rex prepare for both QB's even though Bill knew Jimmy was not going to play on Thursday night.
