Well there was a reason they had him on Mike Evans as a true freshman.

In watching that match up, what stood out to me was how Manziel looked to Evans about 80-90% of his first reads and in many cases, had to go elsewhere and usually wasn't too successful or comfortable in doing so.
It was also surprising how much pushing, pulling and holding Evans got away with too. Robinson had a few early shoves too.
As to Robinson, what stands out to me is, his ability to stand on an island while keeping his eyes on the QB. It's very Sherman-like even in the angles he lines up at...up tight in press or off. He is "sticky." By games end, he seemed to have frustrated both Manziel and especially Evans.
Once he gets into our weight and conditioning program and develops for a year, we could have two really special big CB's in Johnson and Robinson.
PS: Keep in mind this grass was soaking wet and Evans had a huge advantage there in size, strength and in knowing his routes over a CB reacting. I'd love to see these two matched up in dry conditions.
