That's the part I never got with Dumb Baalke.. . he turned away from PETERS (CB) or even Melvin Gordon (RB), then pick an oversize COTTON CANDY in Arik Armstead...

Then shy away from DAK ??? I mean, even if he didn't turn out to be this good w/us, how is it that DAK woulda been a waste of pick?

He was an ACL patient, too.

I just want to read Young2Rice refer to him as Robberson.
Seen flash of a good player last year to bad this coaching staff couldn't reach him more
We have a lot of picks this year. I would like to see us package some to be aggressive towards getting the best Trench players and skill players.

Or trade some for future picks at better positions.

cause with this Garappolo trade... we wont be at the top of the rounds anymore
And now he gets to face Kelvin Benjamin this Thursday.

Agreed. No trail technique there.
Yeah, I don't know.

Was it really the player? Or the bad coaching? Not tracking the ball, trail technique...,etc.

Certainly hope its the former.

Seems to me they are trying to get the big personalities out of the building and get more team oriented mentality in the locker room. He's 22 with room to grow (physically and mentally) so it doesn't make sense to give up on him unless they feel like his presence is a problem.
He's gonna ball in NY

Avg NFL career is 3.5 years so he's on pace...
He picked up a penalty during this trade.

6:08 mark. Saleh talks about what the CBs are taught to do when trailing. They are not taught to turn around. They are taught to play the hands of the WR. I think it's odd but the 49ers aren't the only team to do this. The CBs themselves just aren't good at it.

Very disappointed in RR...he showed so much promise a year ago and this season he's been mostly awful. Next to be jettisoned is DJ...don't have the CB depth right now, but as soon as they get it, he should be shown the door. There are some very good CB's in the FA pool next March...it's a chance to sign one of 'em and draft a couple who can actually cover, make tackles and make plays on the ball.
