Meh....I have to believe if they were that high on him they would've tagged him with a designation to return. I believe his procedure wasn't something that would normally keep a guy out the whole season.
It's like Joe Williams going on the IR. Unless those guys show something and light a fire under their ass I'd be surprised if either is on the roster next season :(

That 2011 offseason was huge in setting his reputation. It took several years for the other bad offseasons to override the first impression.
