He is fast enough to get there with the ball, not turn his head to the ball and get his hands all over the WR though. That is enough of a mugging.

Maybe some did. I only thought he was promising and could be a decent starter, nothing more.
Either way, to those who have a stronger grasp of schemes, defenses, etc, is it an absolute necessity for the corners to play zone for the type of defense that we are running?

It's like Street Fighter... Eventually you gotta learn combos and timing if you wanna hang with the big boys lol.
Or like beating a living 🐎...Hoping eventually they learn and wont have to do so to get them to perform up to standards
