Good recognition of the screen. Wasn't sure where to go, but this play also shows what I am seeing in that he always tracks the play down from behind. Doesn't slack when the play is past him.

He might have got to the QB if he would have stayed after it or blocked the pass maybe?
But he did not give up and that is nice to see

Anyone know what number he might plan on picking?

The only A+ grade they have in the first of I'm not mistaken.

Yup. Their 2nd overall player falling to 7.
Versatile, explosive, pushes interior pocket and stops the run.
Closest current NFL player?
I think its pretty obvious Buckner is going to beast it here for many years to come

Armstead seems more like Campbell, Buckner is a better all around player...better penetration, pursuit and still strong at the point of attack. Armstead is not necessarily a plodder but he tends to be more upright and still push the OL back toward the QB. Must be one heck of a strong son of a gun!
Reggie White?

Maybe, but I see him pretty similar to J Smith. No offense to Smith but Buckner has that heads up, high motor, make a big play when it's needed type of mentality and game.
so excited to see him and armstead out there destroying o lines. these are huge, extremely powerful dudes. williams/dial with these two guys outside is gonna be one of the best d lines in football

Richard Seymour.
Blair is also quite a prospect and it will be interesting to see if they use Buckner with either Blair or Carradine on the right side in a four man front. Buckner will command a double, leaving the other one on one. This may be a way to manufacture a pass rush without a top OLB.
