Niners need help in the pass rush.
He excelled under Chip Kelly at Oregon.
He's owed only $3.2 mil for this season with a club option for 2017.
I bet we could get him for a late round pick.
Why not?

It would be more likely had they kept Vernon. But Vernon leaving, leaves a hole for Miami to fill. I think they give him one last shot.

I agree. They'll give him one more chance before admitting he was a horrible pick for them.
He needs to be a rush LB. I hope we can pry him away though. He was a beast of a prospect.

I was thinking the same thing. Miami signed a few pass rushers so even though Vernon left they still have suh wake Mario Williams so I think the former number 3 overall pick might be worth a 5th rounder maybe even a fourth.
I really want chipotle trade for him

Be nice to give up a 4th or 5th. for him to Backup Lynch and just play Aldon Smiths rookie role-Rush passer.

I would take a flier on him.... Maybe a 5th round pick that escalates to a 4th or even a 3rd based on playing time and performance. We need a pass rush.... He did well in Chip Kelly's system.

"Trust me, the guy that went No. 3 we were considering very heavily," Kelly said then, "but didn't get the chance to pull the trigger on that one."
