To think he was being talked about as the first overall pick and there was some people who thought he'd be better than Von Miller.

He just turned 23 a couple months ago, though. Wasn't he from the same draft as Dion Jordan and Barkevious Mingo? Those guys have done less than him in they were high first round picks.

Edit: Just checked that draft and Damontre has better career stats than all 5 DE taken ahead of him. Jordan, Mingo, Datrone Jones, Tank Carradine, and Margus Hunt. Plus he is younger than any of them. Nearly 4 years younger than Tank, and 5 years younger than Hunt.

That was really the final straw for him with the Giants.

As was the story with him which caused him to fall in the draft in the first place, his whole time on the Giants he has been a head case and generally a problem. Supposedly he didn't get much playing time because three years in he still doesn't really know the playbook.

No, because he called out that jerk Cullen Jenkins for taking several pairs for himself and leaving none for some players. Big, fat, vet team captain acting like a 6 year old. Good on Moore for calling him out on it. The locker room must be a mess over there, which isn't surprising with a crotchety senior citizen like Coughlin hanging on 10 years past his expiration date.

Moore has a been a superstar in the league compared to waste of space Tank Carradine, who is like four years older and was taken in the same draft. I was fan of Moore on draft day (compared to the trash he was taking) and knew Carradine was a mistake. Still like Damontre. If he's getting in the face of Jenkins and Coughlin, I like him even more.
