What a crazy week of games. Lot's of good close nail biters. Kind of felt good not having to miss some of those games to watch us solely. Bad for my pick em this week. Oh well bring on Seattle and let's finish this.

CC always comes off as slick to me, Madden was the measuring stick for color men. I still love Marv Albert's call in basketball and football. I guess being a Knicks fan since the 50's plays a part.

I've rewatched some old games not too long ago.
Madden would add insight that knowledgeable fans could learn from regarding blocking, schemes, etc.

I remember Madden and Summerall after we annihilated the Broncos in the SB saying that 49er team may be the best of all time.

Collinsworth was decent when he was with Fox, though I liked him better as a studio analyst than as a color guy. (Who thought Buck and Collinsworth in one booth was a good idea?) But he's been terrible on NBC. Every week he blatantly roots for one team. It reminds me of 80s/90s wrestling color guys who'd root for the heel/bad guy constantly.
Agree with your points about Madden and Marv Albert. The NBA Finals haven't been the same since Mike Breen took over.
