Seattle is still very much in the hunt. The NFC is so miserable that the wildcard is completely up for grabs. GB is imploding and Atlanta is quickly plummeting. It's wide open after that.

The Hawks have an easy schedule and might only lose 2 or 3 more games. 9 or 10 wins should be enough to get into the playoffs this year.

It's funny to me that people have been saying the league is weaker this year. There are a lot of teams under .500, because there are several teams with very good records and not many really bad teams. Every year, there's the same number of wins to go around - the distribution doesn't tell you whether the league is good or not that year. 60% of teams could be above .500 if there are no dominant teams and some very bad ones, but it wouldn't mean the league is stronger.

The NFC actually has a winning record against the AFC this season and as of right now the wildcard teams are 6-3. 9-7 could be enough to get into the playoffs, but the Falcons will probably have 9 wins going into the last game of the season against New Orleans (assuming they win 3 games out of the Bucs, Jaguars, Vikings, Colts, and 2x Panthers). I wouldn't want to count on the Falcons losing to the Saints with the playoffs on the line (I'm assuming the Packers get to 10 wins). It's more likely the Seahawks will need to get to 10 wins if they want to make it to the playoffs, so they have to go 6-1 the rest of the way. They have to get past either the Steelers or the Cardinals and not get tripped up by one of the easy teams on their schedule.
The defense gave the leprechaun two free TDs and they still lost at home
Which one if you broke pete Carroll's nose?

You're not the only one who hates that.

My god I hate everything that guy does.

Every single body language mannerism and twitch on the field.

How he runs, etc.
The magic is coming to an end in Seattle. They spent a lot of money on Wilson and the ceiling is getting lower every week.

That's great. For a second there, it looked like this was going to be the first time in Wilson's career that he was going to win when the opponent scored 25+, and yet the only reason his team put up that many points was because the defense gifted him two easy scores (just like you said). Wilson was 14 out of 32 today (43.8%)! Dude is exceedingly mediocre.

Man the Seahawk forums are calling for Carroll to be replaced, Bevell to be replaced, Wilsons head, lol. It looks like our threads.

Coming to an end? The magic ended with SB 49.

They get a few completions under 15 yards but it is all phony because they KNOW Wilson cannot consistently hit those. Their main goal right now is to try and catch the defense creeping up or sleeping so they can get some plays over the top. If they don't hit any deep passes, they will always lose.

I say Cover 4 the crap out of this team, play man under and run blitz the rest.

i may not be objective due to the fact i hate them both so much,,,, however did anyone think buck and aikman were REALLY bad and biased yesterday for the packers. i just do not recall those two calling out the officials for calls made against the packers like I think they did yesterday. I know they have been rodgers fan boys for the last several years but yesterday they were begging for the packers to do well. they cried when rodgers got dinged up a bit but when the lion player maybe tore something and had to helped off the field, they said nothing. i just thought that broadcast and their rooting for green bay was the worse I have ever seen
