If Hyde sees any action later this season, it'll be nice to have two established vets there to help him as well as take some of the load off. Thomas is a good pass blocker and Draughn did a rock solid job at that today too.

i hated how he dropped that screen pass. it looked like it had some potential

Yeah would be nice with Hyde in that mix. Bolt down that RB combo and it'll be purring under the hood.

It looked like it came in a little hot and a quarter second before he was expecting it. Not to beat a dead horse, but it's something we're not used to because Kaepernick just doesn't every throw early. I was just glad it wasn't an interception.

This post don't make sense to me sorry, Kap is know as a bullet passer I thought.

Besides how many passes has the RB revived from either QB in practice let alone game time?

he need to gel more with the new QB and get more in cync that will help more then pace of the pass.

Kaep was indecisive and he was a ball hog. Gabbert moves it about a lot more and had more confidence in his team mates and was decisive because he was reading the defence a lot earlier. And he was hungry.
Funny how even when Kaep isn't on the field, it's still his fault.

Kaep hasn't really been sparking all year aside from the odd moment. Gabbert was looking sharp in the preseason and yesterday. I neither like one more than the other. Just looking at their individual performance

Interesting. I wonder if he just wasn't in good enough shape. Maybe he goes to the Pats

that is not good for thomas that he got outplayed by a guy who was setting on the couch a week ago eating nachos. maybe cadet can give us a spark just like our new running back did. sounds like gaskins did a good job in the role of a short distance yardage type of back. maybe that means we plan to use miller more as a tight end type of guy to compliment celek on gabbie rollouts?

i just think our new guy we signed last week out played him and out earned playing time, gaskins seems to be a short yardage guy and maybe we can do , with cadet, things we were unable or unwilling to do with reggie?
of it could just mean Thomas was crap and old

Not really sure how a QB can be a ball hog. I'm guessing Kap should have let the rb take a direct snap more often?
I noticed that on a couple of Thomas runs there were good running lanes, but he wasn't quick enough to exploit the hole.
