Cadet was on the Patriots roster earlier in the year, so he's in better football shape. Simply put, we needed someone in better shape right now. Cadet is a simply a younger, faster player that is also more versatile.

It's interesting he signed here, because I thought I heard with the Patriots Dion Lewis getting hurt, they were considering bringing him back?

Here's a question. They couldn't tell that from his workout before they signed him? This team is a joke.

Could have signed anyone from any teams practice squad and been better off, imo.

Not necessarily. PS players aren't obligated to sign with us. The Bengals RB I suggested last week on their PS could decline to sign with us because he wants to stay in the system with a winning team. Maybe we just wanted more of a veteran presence with Thomas for that game.

Many teams sign and cut new players one week after they bring them on. Not a new thing and not something I would look at to say "this team is a joke" -- there's plenty of other stuff that point to that, haha. Just not the case here with this transaction, honestly.

it happens, remember the time in our life when the former coach would cut, recut, sign and resign the same quarterback to our team.. skelton , i think was the name. maybe he looked decent in workouts then bad in real time. oh well, they cut him and maybe this guy will give us a spark like drone did last sunday

I see now why they call the NFL " not for long" .....

I can also see why many long term supporters rarely get attached to individual players. and just support the franchise .....

it reminds of the Seinfeld episode....
