With the news breaking yesterday about Brooks being charged for Sexual Battery. What are the odds this kid could now make the 53 man roster if we do decide to cut Brooks before the season starts? I think the kid looked pretty good vs Dallas this past weekend. UDFA Marcus Rush Michigan State 6'3" 251 lbs preseason stats: 5 tackels 1.0 Sacks

So we give up 220 instead of 190

Get this guy on the field and see if he can at least get close enough to sniff the opposing QB

Ranked 26th in sacks, 28th in Passing TD's, 22nd in Passing Yards 32nd in rushing yards given up. Why not give Rush a shot because right now we aren't getting anything done....which is odd because we blitz A LOT.

BOTTOM LINE..

Baalke is afraid to go that way...

he doesn't want RUSH to get his chances because he may lead the league, if not the team in sacks, and suddenly, ask HALF of the money that both AA and Eli are making for just putting on the 49ers' mantle and not producing..

Baalke would never wanna get questioned by his Jed DYork as to why those 2 are getting free money...

If this guy doesn't get any snaps by the end of the severely lost season, there is a huge problem. There isn't one guy in front of him on the depth chart that is doing anything significant....not one! This season is clearly a rebuild and evaluation season. Rush needs snaps, period. He isn't buried behind Aldon, Miller, Ware and Harrison for crying out loud

I have said that since last season, when we were so out of it and obvious that Tomsula was not gonna be retained.. I was wondering why we keep guys in PRACTICE SQUAD, then not give them a chance to shine..

are we developing them for somebody else.. he was having a great camp as a rookie free agent but it was just ignored.. just doesn't make any sense..

agreed out run D already blows so honestly who cares if he's awful at that.

at least get some pressure on the QB maybe get a turnover here or there

No it's time to give receivers like Antwan Goodley and Mose Frazier a shot first.

Frickin Baalke I tell you. They got two receivers already on the practice squad and they're working out two more. What in the hell is he thinking. How about working out someone who can stop the run you dumb ass or rush the passer!!!

Hell, sit Tank or Eli down for a game and bring this guy up to get their reps. Maybe that will light a fire under them....or at a minimum it will show us what Rush can do in a real game. Nothing to lose

He can play ILB and can tackle for RB and can sack for QB if he can both?.. just do it.
