horrible in the run game but, so is everyone else very interested to see what he can do as a pass rusher. He was the preseason beast two straight years and did some damage vs the 2s this year. No need to RUSH him in

There is no reason why they shouldn't bring Rush up to get some work. His only knock is his lack of run defense but when we are giving up over 200 yds a game rushing what could he honestly hurt. It just shows Baalke has no balls. He brings a player in but doesn't have the balls to bump him up to the active roster. You can't tell me that Kelly is the one keeping him down on the PS.
Rush just might make Baalke look stupid if he plays well not that Trent needs any help in that area.

This poor guy is becoming our new Rudy. Can't get better than practice squad. With our luck he'll probably eventually get one defensive play on the field as a 49er and like Rudy it'll be a sack. Then we're all left with Charlton Heston reactions.

This is so pathetic, he needs to be active on passing downs at the very minimum. What's the big deal, if it's third and long and they run the ball to his side they usually get a first down anyway on us. What the hell. How do we all know this yet our general manager does nothing.

every freakin SOFTY had gone from the starting lineup all the way to IR... we keep signing players that are just wasting time.. then, we keep playing players from the active squad who either is SLOW, TOO SLOW, OUT OF SHAPE, CAN'T GET IT, and yet, I still don't understand what the excuse of

NOT GIVING "RUSH" A CHANCE???

Baalke does not care at this point. he is getting fired. Rush should be given a chance, we have zero pass rush. I know he shined against back-ups in preseason, but come on, get him on the active roster.

Rush is the type of player that will get plucked off our practice squad by the patriots and go to the pro bowl every year for the next 10 years. SMH
