Completely disagree with that. He is not a good football player plain and simple. We're better off trying some other lineup combination if AA misses any time than to rely on Kinlaw at all.

The Defensive coaches, Shanahan, and Lynch should lock Kinlaw in a room and force him to watch the film of the last time he played against the Eagles where he was absolutely embarrassed! I mean the Eagles OL made him look like he was a 80 big baby instead of a 320lb monster of a man. I cannot imagine Kinlaw has ever been abused like that since he first started playing HS football. If he can't be motivated by that, then there is nothing that will motivate him to perform better in this game.

Worst time to loose him. If that sissy Kinlaw has to play a lot again we're in trouble. Last time he was abused so bad that they had to call the police.

I think Kinlaw is our 6th best DT, Not joking.

Kinlaw has played much better in the past few games. He has been getting a good push on passing downs. His run defense still is not what it should be but that has shown a slight uptick.
Hopefully he just needed him footsies rubbed. If not Givens all day baby . Little worried about his stamina and size tho.

As well as Swift has been running the ball lately, I would rather have Kinlaw at 320 as opposed to Givens at 285.

Kinlaw likely hasn't been 320 pounds since his rookie year. Dude came into camp at 290 pounds last year and around 305 this year. Ultimately, it doesn't matter what his weight is because Kinlaw sucks at every weight. Dude is just a terrible player in every aspect of IDL.

The 49ers really needed to add beef inside this offseason but completely ignored it. Someone big and strong whose strength is stopping the run and built to withstand a entire games' worth of double team barrages at the 2i base nose. I don't think there's an IDL on the team over 310 pounds. Hell, there might not be anyone clearing 300 pounds if you weighed them all right now. Meanwhile, the Eagles' Jordan Davis looks like he's pushing 400 pounds and plays like it on the field.

They really missed that once DJ Jones left. Too much faith in Kinlaw becoming a contributor. Pretty sure this is the last year with Kinlaw.

I miss DJJ. The guy was a unit. No neck, all shoulder pads. Built like a refrigerator with wheels. Born to play nose in this scheme.

Me too. I wanted Jones stay for 49ers than AA and Kinlaw! I think Jones can stop the Eagles for Tush push?!?
Did Armstead practice today?

400 pounds bench press would be awesome ^^

400 pounds on the scale, not the bench.

I've been looking and havent seen if he did or not. But I think it might be irrelevant as Armstead said he's playing Sunday. Hopefully thats a great sign that this is just rest for his foot and nothing bigger.

I still think he is probably the most underrated guy on our defense.

I'm guessing its just some pain he might have to play through, but nothing that will cause serious injury if he plays on it. Just need to get some shots before the game.
