Reid is significantly better in every single measurable way except resistance to concussion and it is not even close. Hitting someone once a game in a deluded attempt too intimidate and drawing a Penalty for it is not a positive.

Goldson was good for a few highlight worthy hits (costing us penalties and yards), but his "greatness" was due to a loaded defense that included a stud backfield.
Reid actually plays the position like it needs to be played; he just needs more experience.
Hands down Reid is better.

Dashon Goldson is a much better player then Eric Reid. Can anyone name me ONE just ONE impact play that Eric Reid has had???????????? Eric Reid isn't a bad player by any means but he's no Dashon Goldson. Atleast Dashon knows how to tackle marshawn and Eric DOESN'T

I'll take the GUY that Took Marhawn down SOLO instead of the Overated Over Drafted guy who couldn't even angle or catch Marshawn for the right to go to the Super Bowl. Dashon is By Far the BTTER Player. If Reid was on Tampa Bay, he would be an afterthought no doubt.

Oh please. One of Goldsons biggest weaknesses was taking poor angles. Showing ONE tackle is bogus.
Peeps loved Goldsons big hits and looked past all of his other problems. Decent player, but WAY, WAY, WAY overpaid.

I like that his example of dashon "knowing how to tackle" is a gif of him making contact and then getting ran over for an extra 7 yards....excellent example
