I'm a Niners fan, whether that entitles me to voice my opinion about the current ownership I don't really care. I don't "have to love the team", I choose to because I've been supporting them for almost 30 years, hell I still have my tiny jacket from the '88 season in my closet. But there has to be some reciprocation for all the time, energy, and money I put into supporting my team.

I don't care if Jed listens to me. I don't care if he listens to the thousands of others blowing up his twitter, saying they want to "waterboard" him or what they want to do to his mother, or whatever else. I'm a fan, I have poured years of time, energy, and money into a franchise that Jed is now treating like a game of madden. Just like you I'm entitled to my opinion about the team, even if we don't agree with one another.

...And to answer your question, "who am I" and "who are you"? We're fans, this sport doesn't exist without us and neither does this team. Do the owners need to listen to us? Obviously not, but we all keep talking anyways.

Vic Fangio is not the end of the world people.....he gave us an ultimatum'MAKE ME COACH OR MAKE SHANAHAN COACH OR I'M WALKING 'and y'all think that's cool, well, see you later Vic.......he did not put this defense together we had this good defense before he got here.....Jim Tomsula has been here with this defense from the start...people say he's a yes man well give me some proof of that....I think he is an excellent selection and with the right oc & dc we'll be in the playoffs again this season

Everyone would be happy with a 36 year old 1st time coach or a coach whom would only be around for 1 or 2 years max before retiring than promoting from within the organization someone who automatically commands the respect for his love and knowledge of the game by the current players?

As a fan, the way this whole thing went about just shows lack of maturity by both Jed and Baalke. I think both these bums are acting like kids, but that's just my opinion. I think the 49ers have a good team, and it would be sad if its messed up due to ego/pride issues.
Letting go of the entire coaching staff? Donatel, Sealy, Solari...anyways. There are many new HCs across the league. All of them would want OCs and DCs...and how many of them would chose to report into Tomsula? actually report into Jed/Baalke? I don't know, but just doesn't seem right.

Thanks for allowing over 30 points in the superbowl, and allowing victor cruz to run all over us in the nfcc game, and for allowing the patriots to come back from that huge deficit, and for allowing Russel Wilson to convert that 4th and forever, and for allowing Mario Manningham to catch that touchdown on 4th down, and for allowing Peyton Manning to break the record against us.

I wonder why they ultimately chose Tomsula over Fangio. Both guys seems well liked by all the players.
