Lisa is the worst...She talks sh-- but makes it sound like she isn't talking sh--. She must be part Jedi.

I generally agree with this. Passive aggressive pokes and prods cloaked in innocence.

Don't worry, they'll be gone in 2 years when the Seahawks haven't won anything.

Not likely, speaking for myself.
I'm also a Mariners fan (Seahawks are my first sports love, the Mariners are my true sports love) and I've been reading/posting on both Yanks and Halos forums for years. I've certainly got nothing to crow about on those boards (since the Mariners have won nothing . . . ever) but, I still enjoy the exchange (and learn stuff in the process)

Good for you. But I'm referring to "Seahawks fans" on Espn and NFL.com. One guy said Richard Sherman was #24. Another said Pete Carroll has only been coaching in the NFL for 4 years. These are the "fans" i'm referring to.
has the fight moved over here since the other thread got locked
What in the hell does ANYONE give a crap about what a Hags fan has to say? Quit wasting your time.
This Hawk fan also remembers that the FO hasn't always been this nice. A few years back we had a WR named Urban who worked his tail off in pre season. Broke his leg, and while getting it examined, was cut from the team. At that time he missed out on a chunk of money while paying for his own air travel to see a specialist. The FO felt like they owed him nothing though he was a stand out during that pre season. It wasn't till Hasselback organized his players to skip practices that the FO caved, finally paying him. We should not be critical of the Niners FO that held thier player to his contract. Just sayin.

I stopped reading ESPN comments, much the same I try not to pay attention to comments on NFL Meme's facebook posts. Full of trolls period. You got Niner fans on there acting like they've been around since the beginning who are 12 year old thug wannabes. Pretty much the worst of the worst of all fanbases on ESPN and facebook.

It makes the internet and conversations interesting. It's human nature to want opposing views. If you're just surrounded by everyone who agrees with you on everything, sure does get boring pretty quickly. Hell do you ever find yourself being devil's advocate just to stir up a conversation despite the fact that you agree with the other person to begin with.

I view this site like my girlfriend parents house. Im a visitor and sometimes I dont agree with them and what they say, but im a VISITOR. I'll engage in civil discourse, but will not over step my boundries for I am not in my house. Its like the dumbasses who seek out a bands web site to just leave rude comments. If you dont like them or even hate them, no need to engage in some thought less web argument to just rile a person up. If there is no constructive criticism, then people should just stsy away. TROLLS can be hilarious though
How about Richard Sherman lobbying successfully, to get the LOB on the Madden Cover instead of just his mug. Pretty selfless and classy. Maybe this should have it's own thread in the "NFL Talk" forum?

he knows the curse and is trying to spread it out over a few others in hopes it doesnt bite him. the guy always has an agenda.
Nope, I researched this more. Probably I read hype and it pointed me to RSherms page. Looks like he WANTS the LOB on cover instead of just him. Maybe they will, maybe they won't. My bad.

Even as a hawk fan not sure how I feel about this. The fan vote was for RS not the LOB. Hell even the LOB would be kind of weird because the LOB for the SB included Maxwell, yet Browner was one of the starting members. I'd imagine even if EA were to put the LOB on the Madden cover, it would only be 4 guys, ET, RS, Kam and Maxwell/BB. And depending who they chose for that final slot there would be a lot of stir.
True Zaghawk, it would be a slippery slope to open that up. Perhaps "enemy" fans of other teams will soften their hardened stance against Sherm, and the Seahawks in general, for just the gratious INTENTIONS of Sherm.

But who knows... this could be all smoke and mirrors, even perhaps the IDEA wasn't his at all, but maybe his agent's advice in order to become more magnanimous and appealing to more of a general audience.

I feel it should be the LOB. Since all the critics always bring up that sherm isnt s**t without Kam and Earl. Im not to sure, but I think our PI calls went down after Maxwell became the starter. I could be wrong but I thought John Clayton brought that up during one of his segments. Either way you go with that Super Bowl LOB if they decide on putting them on the cover as a whole unit.
