I wish there was a company out there that sold jersy's cheaper if the athletes nfl stock was lower (rookie, injuries ...ect).... Then raised in price based on talent... A Borland Jersey for 30 bucks

Sat here looking at this for a minute or so. First thought, "wow, i love how frank is such a willing an able teacher of the younger players at his postion." Second thought, "those are two of the best #'s an RB can have, great choice by Hyde." Third thought (as I'm glancing around for something else that stands out about this photo), "Holy s**t JH has a fat old man ass, wow." Definitely not manly Jim

Whenever Frank decides to retire, I hope he comes back to the team as an Assistant Running Back coach next to Rathman, those two would be an epic combo coach.
What's y'alls projection for Carlos Hyde this season, and beyond?

I'm a Texans fan, but I drafted Hyde in the 5th round of my keeper league. I really like the match between his style of running and y'all's offensive scheme. The Niners have had a downhill running philosophy for the past decade (Which I have a ton of respect for), so I figured he'd be a great keeper once he's given his time.

My question is this: I know I reached for him, but what do you think he will do this year, and beyond? Think he's a good keeper at a 5th round value? Knowing my league, I got him while I could. He would've been gone by my next pick.

Thanks!

I drafted him too. This year is pretty much up in the air, it all depends how they wanna split carries with Gore, and if Gore still has enough left in the tank to be the starter. I'm pretty confident that Hyde will be getting the majority of carries towards the end of the year.

Yeah. That's why I reached on him. I really liked that pick for y'all. I think Hyde has the potential to be another Frank Gore, i.e., another decade of 9-11 touchdowns and 1,000+ yards rushing. Can't ask for more than that, especially with that level of consistency.

We'll see. FWIW, as a Texans fan, I think we make the playoffs this year--mostly because of our weak schedule. We have talent everywhere but QB, but I think Fitz is capable of game managing thru the shotty AFC South.

Good luck Niners, F the Seahawks
Cowboys will get a decent dose of Mr. Hyde.
He is the future. A good future.
If he can learn 1 thing from Gore...its blocking.

I'm gonna miss Gore when he's gone

Same here, I have him on my bench with Le'veon bell and Reggie bush starting. I think Hyde is the sleeper rb

I still remember frank's rookie year when he said his goal was to lead the team in rushing. He led the team that year with 600+. Been leading ever since.
It's been a while since we had back to back decent RB's.

watters to hearst? or was loville in between them? barlow was coo for a bit too after hearst but he fell off fast. Hyde is definitely gonna be the man tho, Gore is the best but I feel comfortable with Hyde carrying the torch and being our battering ram for years to come
