Hyde was the high light of the game IMO.

Want to see him get some pass blocking in. Overall a great pick so far. Really hope Latt can be 3rd in the rotation.

It looks like he can be at least a very good player and maybe something better than that. Guys that show up the first time they ever play like the 1st preseason game usually have it. I have high hopes for him. He even seems faster than his 40 time. He can get to the corner. Strange being that his 40 is not that great. I guess he has more functional football speed than track speed. Which is always more important anyway.

If he scores a TD in the preseason, IM buying his jersey

All I can say after watching him in his first ever action against a first team defense is wow.

Saw him do two things last night that he very rarely did in his highlight clips: run with a FB lead, and carry the ball in his left hand.

He's a gamer. Much faster off the edge then i expected for a guy his size. He'll be good and punishing the SeaChickenHawks

let's not get too excited just yet.
The guy can either tighten up his screw and become the next Frank Gore, or he can get an early success to his empty head and become the next Kevan Barlowe.

do you think we start to actually decrease his workload in the preseason so we do not wear him out? i say that with lattimore up in the air. no matter what they do perhaps we should start to give hampton and the two new guys we signed a increased work load from here on out?? i do not know

When you listen to him being interviewed, Kevan Barlow definitely does NOT come to mind. I don't think there is much danger of Carlos Hyde getting too full of himself. A couple more performances like last night and it's going to be pretty clear that he's the future.

But that's just interview, I mean, anyone can act all professional during their first interview.
Anyhow, I only stated the fact the he can be a knucklehead because of his suspension at Ohio State. The guy almost lost his elegibility last year because of an assault on a woman at a sports bar.
I know he deserves a 2nd chance, but to me, that will always be a bad sign.

Interesting. I didn't know that he had those kinds of problems in college. He seems pretty smart, well-spoken and humble. We'll see.

Eh, I watched Kory Sheets, Anthony Dixon, and Glen Coffee get enshrined into the NFL Preseason Hall of Fame. Let's not start sucking each other's dicks just yet

Yeah. I thinl they did just that. If hunter and lmj were around Hydre probably gets more carries to close the game out.
