Hyde's commitment to football isn't in question. The jury is still out on Joe Williams no matter how you feel about him. We'll see how Los does this year.

Welp SF could have $100+ million in cap space and have 5 top 100 picks in the next draft. Don't see how they can't improve the OL and resign Hyde. RBs don't take up a huge chunk of cash...he plays well in this system I have zero problems paying him.
Time will tell

I agree, I'm expecting him to do well and be extended say 4 yrs 20 million, its a hope but a duo of him and Joe Williams for yrs would be very nice..

You mean $22 million cause guaranteed cash is all that matters. That's still not a ton of money at all.
Guaranteed money is not the only money he receives...what really matters in the end is cap hit imo.
It was a 5 yea 41 million dollar deal with $22 milion in guaranteed money. Looking at the deal they can't cut him for 4 years without some sort of massive cap penalty.
Looks like there's an out after the 3rd yr

Sure they will take a cap hit if they cut him before his contract is up...that happens in most cases as well.
If Hyde performs well in this system and stays healthy I'm all for rewarding one of our own. We got Williams and breida there to round out a good core.

I like Hyde, a lot. But, call me crazy all you want, I want Barkley in the first, and 2 OL in the 2nd.
Barkley, Ivey, Cole, and Cappa later

I wouldn't hate on that as long as we get Kirk or Jimmy G in FA. Barkley would be amazing in this system... unfortunately I don't see this staff drafting RB early

I'd rather get ourselves a "Julio Jones" type than use a high draft pick on a RB.

Good luck finding a "Julio Jones" type WR lol...they don't grow on threes

I expect us to be drafting very high again next year, and if it's not going to be a FQB, then a big WR would be my #2.

A Julio Jones type is important, and will always make any team better. However, I think shanny can scheme open any smaller but quicker WR. Ok top of that, the better the running back, the better the play action, which makes scheming open more "average" WR easier.
I'm also hoping my draft plan includes having Terrell Pryor come over with K.Cousins, so there's that

Agree
I still like getting a FWR and OLine studs.

I don't see many "big" WRs with Juilo like route running and speed. I like christian kirk the most, but he's more in the mold of OBJ. Sutton is the big bodied WR but he's not Juilo more Jeffery IMO.
I want to fix that OL and there's gonna be some studs. good thing we got 5 top 100 picks and a butt load of money

It's a different era now. With RB's, TE's and slot receivers seeing way more catches, teams don't need to rely on that go-to WR anymore. I would say OL and/or unstoppable slot guy is more valuable.

BPA all the way through.
I dont envision having legit holes...
Just some positions to upgrade or prepare for someone aging/departing.
I wanna go pass rusher in round one though.
I got Falcons signing Mack and Sanu in the back of my head...
Could see us signing an OL and WR..Maybe QB and address everything else in the draft.
