Heck yeah if that dude is over my shoulder...He looks like a bat. Not like a vampire, like a human bat! Lol
Make or break year for hyde. He will either be a pro bowl rb or will be bouncing around the league with different teams as a goal line back or a back up.

That seems a bit black and white. Surely something in the middle is possible too. Plenty of good backs don't make the pro bowl.

It will be interesting to see what he does with the new system and the new coaching.

Really hope this dude pans out and we just don't have another Coffee, LaMichael James, Hunter, Mike Davis, Lattimore on our hands
Hyde will get the majority of the workload... No doubt in my mind. If not that means Williams plays out of his mind which would be a great problem to have.

My guess is Hyde has a great year, and gets extended either in season, or after the year is over. He and Williams are a perfect 1-2 punch for Kyle's system IMO.

I'd love for that to be true!

Reported he came into camp overweight (from John lynch)...RB comp is gonna be real interesting this tramping camp.

I wouldn't count out my UDFA crush Breida either

Seriously. IIRC, it was kind of known he'd come in a bit overweight (like a lot of draft picks). In an interview he said he was flying all over the country for the draft, inconsistent sleep, on-the-go diet, etc.

Glad he's on track now. Now let's see how he, Lynch, and others show up to TC. That's the real test in commitment.

Honestly I could care less if anyone shows up a little over weight in mini camps/OTAs that's what they're for to get in football shape. I will say I don't hear of any of our other rookies coming into camp out of shape, so I'm not gonna just say oh well he's a rookie.

Training camp will be interesting at a lot of positions and it sounds like Williams was fine by the end of OTAs anyway.

Totally agree.

A little out of shape is no big deal during the off season.

It's their vacation time.

If he was 40 lbs overweight - that's be a different story.

I'm much more concerned about attitude.

If his head is on right - he'll be just fine.

It would be a bad idea to trade Hyde and put complete trust in Rc's.
