Make or break year for hyde. He will either be a pro bowl rb or will be bouncing around the league with different teams as a goal line back or a back up.

Reported he came into camp overweight (from John lynch)...RB comp is gonna be real interesting this tramping camp.
I wouldn't count out my UDFA crush Breida either
Originally posted by NCommand:Seriously. IIRC, it was kind of known he'd come in a bit overweight (like a lot of draft picks). In an interview he said he was flying all over the country for the draft, inconsistent sleep, on-the-go diet, etc.
Glad he's on track now. Now let's see how he, Lynch, and others show up to TC. That's the real test in commitment.

Honestly I could care less if anyone shows up a little over weight in mini camps/OTAs that's what they're for to get in football shape. I will say I don't hear of any of our other rookies coming into camp out of shape, so I'm not gonna just say oh well he's a rookie.
Training camp will be interesting at a lot of positions and it sounds like Williams was fine by the end of OTAs anyway.

Totally agree.
A little out of shape is no big deal during the off season.
It's their vacation time.
If he was 40 lbs overweight - that's be a different story.
I'm much more concerned about attitude.
If his head is on right - he'll be just fine.
