He is keeping and paying a bunch of money to a often injured under achieving player who is unable or unwilling to make plays on the rare times he sees the field. yes.. that would qualify as being moronic for signing him

I still wonder, even wth the money paid, whether ward actually makes the team...or is traded away. I'm thinking Kilgore here. Couldn't understand why he got not just re-signed, but extended. And then while we were working on other things, BOOM. He gets traded away. Maybe that happens with ward, maybe not. Just saying i won't be surprised if it happens.
