Boone had a weekly interview show on KNBR with Murph and Mac last season. When the Miami news came out, he told Murph and Mac that something like that could never happen in the Niners locker room because they all treat each other like family. Boone said he had never seen ANY player in the Niners locker room being hazed or abused by another player.

LOL! Well said! When I read a comment like the one above yours I picture a guy going into a public bathroom, peeing all over the seat and then laughing as he leaves without washing his hands. Just pops into my mind for some reason.

Sorry i have a hard time respecting him. What he did and how he went about it was very immature and wrong. Granted we all make mistakes and deserve a second chance, but i just don't see him as a football player. Especially reading about how many sacks he was giving up? Geese.
But from what they shared with in regards to the text messaging between him and incognito i'm sorry but that was bush league how he went about it. Lol and even admitting to it too in those messages?

Please. Let's not go through this Incognito-Martin thing again. It's just embarrassing. On the one hand, you've got a flat-out thug, a guy who's been bad news on every team he's ever played for from college through the pros, a guy who was voted not once, but twice to be the dirtiest player in the NFL and a guy who has just admitted he has mental problems and needs help. On the other, you have a seriously deep-thinking student athlete who comes from a family of well educated professors and is simply not shallow enough to be able to ignore mean-spirited hazing and race-baiting when it's happening with players who are supposed to have his back and coaches who are supposed to be supporting him.

And some people around here just naturally gravitate towards the thug. Just embarrassing.

what took place there means nothing now. if he does not make it what did we lose?

If we skip on taking a backup in the draft, and Martin sucks...we lose a possible quality backup. I hope this and the Gabbert signing don't stop us from taking quality backups early.

it will not. even if they will not admit it in public perhaps the niner front office is thinking those same thoughts you just stated . we will get a nice rookie qb and i bet you a versatile offensive lineman from rounds 5th-7th.

If Martin was a second round draft pick this year, would that change anything later in the draft? Any draft pick or free agent can be good or bad.
Martin should be thought of as an early draft pick for this year, and like any draft pick, he might or might not pan out.

In Miami, he got bullied to the point where he wanted to sit while taking a piss

It will be different here. He'll be around quality veterans that will work / train him to the point where he might want to throw up during practice.

BTW, I'm pretty sure he stands when he "pees" as males are suppose / taught to do. If you're taking a poop and happen to just wiz at the same time, no problem. HOWEVER, if you just want to take a piss, but decide that you prefer to sit, then go on and squat. that's your prerogative (I guess)!!

Standing while urinating>>>sitting while urinating (unless you're a girl)
