4ML, we get it. Bullies are bad. One day we'll all live in harmony singing kumbaya. But Martin is still a quitter for telling the Dolphins he didn't want to play for them any further.

You all need to move on from this bullying thing. He's on a completely new team with a coach he is comfortable with. Time to start talking about his talent as a backup OL. Seems like we have zero risk and all upside. Hard to hate on this move.

It will forever be a running joke with Martin, no matter how well he plays. The amount of people saying "don't sign him" is small, mostly because offensive line is a scarce position in this league. But Incognito jokes will follow Jonathon for the rest of his life, that's the choice he made.

Depth, and possible the only place where he can play. We needed depth on the line. Snyder is better at G than at T, also when your primary backup on both T spots is your starting RG you need depth. Martin provides this.
Does this mean Looney or Kilgore go back to PS?
Great depth cheap. Martin was a highly regarded 2nd round pick and we get him cheap with a couple years left on his rookie contract adding depth. Considering what happened in his 1st stop in the NFL and he played for Harbaugh in college he may even resign with the 49ers cheap providing long term depth. Big upside and little downside.

Isn't Kilgore the new starting center?
Unknown. This looks like another mid roster move. We could use depth up front. Marquardt not working out?
A cheap signing which has virtually no downside and huge possibilities.
what's his salary on the books? i hope we're making him take a pay cut commensurate w/ his new role
f**k Incognito, everything about that wack job and that organization reeks of decaying maggot flesh. Anyone sticking up for that imbecile and his low browed, frat boy dummy friends need to shut up. I don't care what was exchanged in text messages, that unstable manchild is dangerous. Martin was trying to fit in, but underneath it was eating him up. hopefully he can reach his potential and be free from negativity out here.

Yes, Goodwin isnt coming back. Looney is a guard and could replace Iupati.

This is a great move I think.

We have a strong, strong, professional locker room that won't tolerate b******t. More than that, Davis has been a liability in pass protection and I can see Martin with a shot at challenging him as a starter.

I'd love to see Martin at RT and Davis moved inside to RG - Iupati is just too injury prone and poor in pass protection.

Have they released info on what the conditional pick is?
Seventh rounder in 2015 that could become a 6th rounder. Nothing big.
