Yeah, you can't definitely say that Boldin was perturbed. He looked really happy. I'm sure a guy like Boldin is happy when his team is getting raped. He's a quiet guy, kinda like kap, really positive like Jimmy T. He wouldn't be pissed at that point. Everyone is silly.

2. Anquan Boldin, wide receiver, San Francisco 49ersThis would be the case of an organization letting one of its most-veteran players finish up his career on a winning team. It goes without saying that San Francisco isn't going anywhere this season. And considering it's likely Boldin's last in the NFL, general manager Trent Baalke could very well decide to give him an opportunity to go out a winner.
The 35-year-old Boldin is coming off two consecutive 1,000-yard seasons. He also has the toughness in the blocking game that contending teams covet. Based on the landscape of the NFL right now, he could definitely help out for the stretch run.
Imagine the New England Patriots adding this big-bodied receiver to go with Julian Edelman. It would likely cost nothing more than a mid-round pick. Heck, I am pretty sure Cam Newton wouldn't have much of an issue tossing the rock to Boldin for the remainder of the season.

Imagine what the Webzone will be like if we ship out a veteran or two at the deadline.
There are probably still some users here who will believe that we're contenders. "Well, Boldin wasn't that good this year. I think DeAndrew White could be a legitimate improvement!"

Makes a lot of sense to trade Quan. He doesn't deserve this sinking ship. He's not coming back next year and he's old anyway, might as well trade him for a draft pick to NE or Balti again.

Would be very interesting if we saw Boldin or Brooks shipped off for picks or OL. Wouldn't be all that surprised. Once Jerome Simpson is back, and especially if Smelter is good to go, they might strongly consider it. The speed upgrade could really help, although I think Torrey would be bummed his PIC was shipped off.

I don't see much trade value in either player at this point but I wouldn't care if they got traded at this point.

The Panthers need a WR in order to compete w/the Falcons, and that's a given.. Ginn is their #1 right now, so I think we can get a 4th rounder from Carolina for Boldin..
Sorry to see him go, but it is what it is.. he ain't coming back next year, so we may as well get a 4th rounder for him.. we may even improved that to a 3rd rounder if he can stay healthy and lead the team in reception and play in the Super Bowl..

no it actually does not in my opinion
part of me wonders if some of the people here would actually be mad and upset if the team turns things around, starts playing good football and starts winning some games
. it sure does make you wonder sometime
