yo CC,

Anquan no longer a threat... he may have Cris Carter's hands, but no CB fears him anymore... dont you wanna see his remaining talent go to a team who's competing for the playoffs at least...

or do you just enjoy watching the likes of Johnny Morton, Curtis Conway, Isaac Bruce makin their last MILLIONS with the 49ers with meaningless receptions even if it led the team??

we will just agree to disagree. i understand the examples you rolled out and of course you make a good point. we at least got one good year out of bruce! but anyway i think boldin can still be a good weapon for us. its just ck has just been so bad in his two game funk, no one looks good even when given the chance, aside from torey smith. again i think they can all work their way out of,providing the line play is addressed. if the team continues with how they have played in the last two games, if players dog it, do not care and the coaches really prove to me they are not nfl coaches, then yes, massive fire sale and just play kids. i am not there yet
Trading Q for the purpose of allowing him to be on a winning team doesn't make sense since he already has a ring.

Sorry to see him go, but it is what it is.. he ain't coming back next year, so we may as well get a 4th rounder for him.. we may even improved that to a 3rd rounder if he can stay healthy and lead the team in reception and play in the Super Bowl..
We traded a 6th round pick for him following th super bowl
Heck, I am pretty sure Cam Newton wouldn't have much of an issue tossing the rock to Boldin for the remainder of the season.

Pretty sad that Cam is seen as a much better QB than Kap at this point. Cam is 31st in the league for yards per game. Kap....is 34th in the league for that stat. Yes, there are only 32 teams in the NFL.

There are probably still some users here who will believe that we're contenders. "Well, Boldin wasn't that good this year. I think DeAndrew White could be a legitimate improvement!"

No it just means we completely gave up on the season and are looking to rebuild for a possible playoff bid in 2-3 years

If Baalke drafts like he did in 2012 again, it will more like 3-5 years. Getting zeroed on an entire year's class sets a team back significantly.
After 23 draftees the last two years and Baalke still needing to go down to practice field and evaluate one on ones with the oline tells me he missed somewhere. The oline was always going to be the doom of our season if we didnt hit on a few guys and it looks like we're a little short for the volume of guys we brought in.

Ward and other dbs may really turn into something but we need more than that from Baalke.

And Jeds ass needs to see that. I dont know how you cant ask yourself as an owner, "where is my value for the 23 draft picks we've had past two years?"
Sorry ^

Rant probably belonged somewhere else in NT

I'd really like to express just how much I love Quan. For all those years in Arizona that I never gave him credit for being as good as he really was, then for the absolute hate that I had for him during the Super Bowl. He is truly a throw back to an era where players were unselfish and gave every ounce of themselves on the field. Watching him come up slow yesterday reminded me just how much it sucks that we didn't have a chance to have him longer than the short amount of time that we have.
Boldin is slow as hell but somehow plays well
It's pretty funny watching him sorta jog his routes and get open anyways.
