This was supposed to be Justin Smith's replacement, what a joke that was.

Thank goodness we weren't contending for a super bowl when we drafted this guy..... Acl product in the second round, go sit on the bench while we lose and Seattle is rotating defensive players.

(Justin playing with one arm)

Drafting with no consequences at that time must have felt good, similar to getting paid without doing anything..

Look what PHI did...basically had 2 sets of DL and they were fresh the whole SB. I'm glad they are extending him, he's turned into a solid player

Solid player ur joking right ??? 5.5 career sacks 70% of his career has been on IR ...

Didn't realize you have to rack up sacks to be a solid player

You have to at least attempt to make plays to be a solid player

50 career tackles and 1 FF and 2 TFL is a joke for a 3 year 1st round player.

Tank was drafted 2013 but his bestie is tha IR so really he only has about 2 yrs of game time so yea solid waste of a high 2nd rounder

Extreme waste. I held out hope. Time to move on.

He might have been a #Tank in college, but he more like a #Tonka (maybe) in the NFL doe

I think some of you overlook the fact that Carradine was asked to cut weight one year then asked to bulk up to 300 lbs another year. He's been constantly asked to switch positions year in and year out. I think Tank settling in at one position for once will do him some good and certainly worth a spot as a rotational player. IMO

Welp, your opinion can't be bad since Saleh likes him and Shanny approved of the message...

On another note, too bad A. Lynch can't dedicate to weight / diet change like Tank (that's some dedication).
Very true Kolohe, and noted again. I just want to see the guy perform. Hopefully we have no more craziness of jumping his weight up or down. Leave him alone and let's see what he does.

We've seen what he's best at being on tha IR ...I see a rookie as more deserving of a roster spot then this fool ...
Eli Harold, Cornellius Carradine & Carlos Hyde must all be related cuz they are all trash players with similar traits.
Dude is the DLine equivalent of Harold, skilled at setting the edge... not sure if we can afford run stopping specialists, and need players in the box with a more well rounded skill set

I honestly thought he looked good last season before he got hurt. I was surprised tbh. I'd keep him on the cheap.

+1 even though he was hurt again, I would rather have a strong rotation of good lineman than just 4 great starters and meh backups.

Good post.

At this point he's a good rotational guy.

We need guys like that since not everyone will be a star.

I've held out hope he can be like he was in college but that ship has sailed.

Excellent point!

A great team will beat a group of superstars every time.

For example - Look at the Pats - I can't name any of their OLine guys but hey always seem to have an effective [not great] running game.
