Facts
Wow .
All McDonald needed was a HOF QB, HOF WR, a potential pro bowl WR and pro bowl RB to get enough attention taken away to have a decent season
Kittle is doing it with ......... nothing ?
See this is where you are wrong (and you arent the only one who has made similar comments). Vance isnt really doing much better this season than he did with us. He isnt breaking out or anything. He is doing roughly what he always does.
2015: 14 games, 30 catches, 326 yards, 3 touchdowns (3.1 cpg, 23.3 ypg, 0.2 TDpg)
2016: 11 games, 24 catches, 391 yards, 4 touchdowns (2.2 cpg, 35.5 ypg, 0.4 TDpg)
2017: 10 games, 14 catches, 188 yards, 1 touchdown (1.4 cpg, 18.8 ypg, 0.1 TDpg)
2018: 13 games, 46 catches, 522 yards, 4 touchdowns (3.5 cpg, 40.2 ypg, 0.3 TDpg)
As you can see, some of Vance's numbers this year are ever so slightly better than his career highs, and his TDs are slightly worse than his career high. People have been making the comment that its nice to see what Vance can do with a HOF type QB. Well, here is your answer. Going from Blaine Gabbert to Ben Roethlisberger is yielding roughly 5 yards per game more than his career high. That is nothing to write home about.
