Now here come the leaks. This sure sounds familiar.

I honestly feel bad for Redskins fans right now. This is Harbaugh's "mutual parting" all over again, just with another team.

We'll see how this thing gets positioned. My feeling knowing what I know about Washington -- This was largely about decision-making power.

If the alcohol relapse stories are true, I feel bad for the guy.

Exactly. Not sure why, but I'm just not buying the "relapse" story. Of course it's possible, hell, even likely, but given the timing/circumstances I just don't buy it.
That is all.

Story about Jealousy and power? Ain't that sound very familiar. I hope the story of Scott having a relapse ain't true, I wouldn't mind him being part of this team as director of scouting or something.. he got eyes for talent.

The axe has fallen ... per NFNL.
Straight-up citing his fight with Alcoholism, as the main reason

He does, but addiction is a monster.
Lots of very smart, talented people have fallen because of it.

Wonder who gets a new job first, Baalke or Scotty?

Probably never know whether it was a relapse or strictly a personality conflict. If he gets hired somewhere else in a similar capacity, I would bet that the personality conflict is the story that the insiders believe to be true.
If he ends up as a Regional Talent evaluator, then I would lean towards the relapse theory.
