Very sad.

To be fair, working for Dan Snyder and Bruce Allen could lead even those without alcoholism to start drinking heavily.

absolutely worth checking out as a talent evaluator/adviser if available. its not like he has to be a teams GM or nothing at all...theres other capacities he can work for teams in if of course he wants to and is able to. the guy doesnt even have to be in the team building. nfl teams can do whatever they want and if his drinking/family issues are causing problems they can find a way to use his expertise while keeping his problems either out of the building or out of reach to be able to affect the team.

I doubt he comes back...we were the team that started the public leaks about his drinking.
Lynch already hired arguably the best talent evaluator in the league...Adam Peters. Why would he hire McCloughan...answer: he wouldn't.
I say yes,, why not
Too bad! Kind of sad. He once ran a scouting business that NFL teams paid $75,000 each to evaluate players. He is a very talented player evaluator. Maybe he can get another gig just evaluating talent, instead of running a team.

He is the Aldon Smith of GM's.

The Redskins are starting to remind me of us three years ago. This could get ugly.

I feel bad for Redskins fans, but at the same time, it would feel good to not be the media's punching bag, for once.

Cant resist posting this link, slightly out of date though it is. Note: typical rolling stone language!
