Dat about to end in a week or 2.

Next week - Jan 12 and 13. Today's meetings gave all the committees the info they need, so tomorrow's meeting is cancelled.

The drama will finally end!

This. Kroenke doesn't have enough outside of his personal agenda to award relocation. Rams will remain in St. Louis.

FWIW, I don't think the NFL will let the Rams leave - the STL proposal seems viable enough to reject relocation.

#LACougars

Well hope he has fun with sitting in his stadium alone til he gets the NFL to give him a expansion team.

As you said, just not enough to approve relocation.

Kroenke's Relocation Application Was a Troll Job, and Could Backfire

Bernie Miklasz: "I think enough people will understand what's happened here — and Kroenke's epic failure as the Rams' owner — and call him out on it. This battering of St. Louis by Kroenke and his lawyer could cause a backlash because it was so beyond the pale for its pure ludicrousness."

^^^^such a good f**king article

If St. Louis is such a barren, hopeless wasteland for NFL football, then why did Kroenke play a major role in moving the Rams here in 1995?

If Los Angeles is so vastly superior to St. Louis as a football market, then why did Kroenke buy a large percentage of the team from Georgia Frontiere as part of the plan to evacuate the LA market so they could bring the Rams to St. Louis to cash in on a remarkably lucrative deal that became the envy of many league owners?

If St. Louis is Hell on Earth As We Know It — based on Bornstein's application theme — then why did Kroenke exercise his right of first refusal and match Shad Khan's offer to buy majority control of the Rams in 2010? Yeah, I know: to buy in cheap and then move the team to Los Angeles double (at least) his franchise value. But that isn't what Kroenke told me in an April 2010 interview, days after he became the team's controlling own. asked about his plans for the team.

"We worked hard to bring the Rams to St. Louis," Kroenke told me. "We worked hard on the expansion process in 1993. We weren't successful but stayed in there and ultimately got an NFL team back into St. Louis. So it's not our desire to ever lead the charge out of St. Louis. If that's sort of the implication, that's not why we're here. We're here to work hard and be very successful in St. Louis."

If the Rams came to the conclusion that St. Louis was doomed as an NFL market, then why did Kroenke submit his own stadium proposal — a massive renovation of the Edward Jones Dome — less than four years ago?

In a related note, if dead-zone St. Louis presented no opportunity for growth and success into the future, then why was Demoff still clamoring for a new stadium here as recently as 2013?

But not all media are lazy dopes. I think enough people will understand what's happened here — and Kroenke's epic failure as the Rams' owner — and call him out on it. This battering of St. Louis by Kroenke and his lawyer could cause a backlash because it was so beyond the pale for its pure ludicrousness.

As Christine Brennan wrote for USA Today: "St. Louis sports fans are smart. They are widely considered to be the best baseball fans in the country. They realize the product that has been put on their football field is inferior, and they are doing what most reasonable people in a great sports town do — refuse to pay for it. To add insult to injury, Kroenke readily heaps praise in his application on San Diego and Oakland, the homes of his competitors in the battle for L.A.. So there's your native son for you, Missouri. Show me? He showed you, all right."

In writing about the Rams' nasty relocation application, Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk noted: "(Kroenke) had to have known it would make it hard to stay in St. Louis. And at some level he had to want the owners to realize this before deciding whether to let him leave. So Kroenke thinks the league will be harmed if the Rams stay in St. Louis. Kroenke's submission now ensures that the league will be harmed even more," …

Our friend Will Leitch checked in with this column at Sports on Earth: "I don't think I've ever seen an owner be crueler to the city that hosted his team for more than a decade than what Stan Kroenke has been to St. Louis. He isn't burning bridges on his way out. He's napalming trees, poisoning the water supply and unleashing a plague of locusts from the top of the Gateway Arch. It's sort of amazing. … but that's not the worst part. The worst part is that Kroenke isn't just saying St. Louis isn't the right place for the Rams. He's saying it's not the right place for anyone. … Kroenke argues, essentially, that St. Louis is a dead city and no one should ever play football there again. And then it gets really mean."

I guess the fans in Denver are just as ungrateful and disloyal to Kroenke as we are in St. Louis. Kroenke's NHL Colorado Avalanche rank 22nd among 30 teams in average home attendance and were down as far as 26th four seasons ago. Kroenke's NBA Denver Nuggets were 28th among 30 franchises in home attendance last season, and the Nuggets are last in attendance for 2015-2016. But we are expected to believe Kroenke has nothing to do with this, nothing at all — and that there is no link between a team's mediocre / poor record and a decrease in attendance.
So now you've turned from being positive that the rams weren't leaving to slander Kroenke for not being a good owner?

Just because one is confident the Rams will stay doesn't make Kroenke a good owner. Lol are you serious with that question?

If the Rams stay in St. Louis, Kroenke will still be a piece of s**t as proven by evidence I've posted above.

Kroenke has and always had the 9 votes to block Spanos. I know that personally from the mouth of an NFL owner.

So, you little STL lover: prepare to see the Rams move home.

Suck it. Rams are coming home.

And, Kroenke is an ANGEL compared to GF: your STL hero. He's the best team owner every compared to her. A wrong is about to be made RIGHT.

Keep dreaming. Kroenke is gonna be called out.
JRG, that article is very biased and on a STL sports radio website. STL will be fine in regards to sports if the Rams leave. You have the beloved Cards, the NHL team everyone there jocks and Mizzou football. I think most sports fans there will forget about the Rams quickly.
