I heard it's because it would (allegedly) be a burden for non Power 5.

It's likely with CFP mega conferences starting next year the B1G and SEC will start throwing their weight around to get the common sense changes they want in place, such as helmet communication.

it 100% is because of that as the smaller schools cant afford it and it creates an advantage for the bigger schools. But there so much money in college football, and the small schools get money when they play big schools, and there is already a huge advantage for the power conferences. So its b******t. And if they have to start with the power conferences, do it. They already have different rules if you are being honest. Scholarships, bowl games, etc.

I know there are a lot of Harbs haters but this might be the dumbest thing ever. Honestly who cares? If you communicate with giant billboards don't be sad if people figure out your calls. Kind of dumb that college QB's are so dumb they have to look to the sideline every play to figure out what to do. It is kind of annoying, go in motion, see defensive alignment, EVERY SINGLE PLAYER stop and look at sideline to understand what to do. Would be nice if QB's could read a defense and call audibles themselves.

Sounds like false reports. Some writer named Jim Stapleton as a minority owner of the vikings and he was blackballing Jim. Linking him to the interview Harbs had with the Vikings. Vikings have come out to say Stapleton is not and has never been a minority owner of the Vikings. lol

Stapleton is a Michigan booster who is now on the NCAA infractions committee. He is said to be the one who gave the NCAA the info about the sign steeling.

There are stories that go back about Stapleton helping remove Rich Rod from Michigan because he wanted Ron English to be Michigan's HC.

Weird s**t
Barstool also reported the Michigan staffer who orchestrated this operation gave the stolen signs to South Carolina to use against Tennessee because Michigan was trying to shape who they faced in the playoffs. And one other school. SC sucked that year, then beat Tenn's ass like 63-30 or something. And the SC defensive coordinator used to be a defensive backs coach under Harbaugh.

I think the sign stealing story is meh because most probably do this...not to the extent Michigan did. But it is "illegal". But if they shared the stuff with other schools to shape the playoff landscape, thats pretty next level. Also, supposedly this dude had a 600 page manifesto on how to shape Michigan football for the future so maybe all of this is true, or maybe this dude is crazy and took his job a little too seriously.
Makes me think about the NFL and its sketchyness .

Referees are FOR SURE getting swayed .

It is called collusion.
Finebaum says it will be the Raiders. How long will he last with that owner?

I don't know but controversy seems to follow Jim around.
