Raiders will pick him up.

I saw some footage where the coaches were pointing to the sky towards the defense signaling an upcoming pass play.
Harbros didn't know a pass was coming on 3rd down.

Latest is a private firm turned in their cheating scout budget. 15000 on the year mostly towards OSU, Georgia. They have direct evidence of some coaches involvement but not JH yet.
It's over because Jim is on the hook here regardless to his involvement.

Sign stealing is stupid for a lot of reasons and has been going on in sports forever. In baseball, coaches change their signs all the times for this reason. In the NFL, teams used to send people to scout their opponents all the time. It turned into sign stealing, so the NFL banned it. And to make sure it wasn't part of the game, they brought in the microphones inside helmets. Now its a non issue.
Kind of crazy that college doesn't adopt the same technology. Having these signs on cards is silly. The whole team standing their hoping to read them the same way. Or 3 people standing together giving different signs so the other team doesn't know which is the right one. Use the technology...it better prepares the player for the next level. And before you say some schools can't afford it, all teams in the power 5 conferences can afford it. And they could find a way to afford it if they wanted. And who cares if some conference can afford it and some can't. You ever compare the facilities of a top school to that of a small school. s**t is isn't the same. The power five, and even the top tier programs, have a competitive advantage anyways.
If you really want to get rid of it, do it the right way.
But everyone knows you can't do it, so Michigan deserves to be punished. But sign stealing is pretty stupid. You still need to execute the play, and the other team shouldn't be lazy and protect them. Take away some scholarships and fix the actual problems and move on.

It's crazy that they don't communicate through helmets in NCAA. Like you said, every time in the power 5 can easily afford it since each program makes millions of dollars.

TCU knew about the sign stealing and used dummy signals for the game to fool the coaches.
That is awesome.
The FBI is now looking into it. lol wut

I heard it's because it would (allegedly) be a burden for non Power 5.
It's likely with CFP mega conferences starting next year the B1G and SEC will start throwing their weight around to get the common sense changes they want in place, such as helmet communication.
