Lil Timmy should have axed him why his offense stunk up the joint.

I don't really care at this point as I firmly believe the FO was tired of his antics and, more importantly, his refusal to make changes with regard to the Offense (for whatever reason)
It would have been nice IMHO if he had fired Roman at the end of the 2013 campaign or at some point prior to mid-season 2014, but after that, it was just painful to watch the team struggling so badly. Something had to give.
I just don't like kawakami. but end of the day tomsula deserves a chance and lets see what he and the rest of his staff can make of it. we might win the superbowl or we might go 2-14. wait and see.

Had we somehow managed to keep him as our HC, whats the chance he would've let Baalke / York handpick his coordinators. Whats the chance that he would be willing to change offensive philosophies ? This disaster of a season had a lot more than do with bad coaching than with bad front office mgmt. And Harbaugh's / Roman's fingerprints were all over it. Looking back, I can see why guys like Deion reported the locker room being a mess.
Jim was great, but he couldn't get us over the hump with a loaded team in 3 straight years. Good riddance.
Yea, I know. It still hurts me as well. But get over it. I know the guy took a cellar dweller franchise and made us top contenders. But that same guy could never really get us through when it mattered. I don't necessarily blame him for the NYG loss in 2011, but losing the SB to Baltimore when we were clear favorites, then not having the ability to adjust vs Seattle at halftime in 2013 in a game we dominated in the 1st half --- just goes to show the guy was enamored with his coaching philosophies (which included Roman and his abysmal playcalling).
In reality, I HIGHLY doubt Jim would've stayed as HC with the stipulation that Roman had to go at season's end.
But I get how you guys feel for the guy.

Yeah eff em all in the ass too bad we couldn't get rid of Baalke and York at the same time as Harbs.
Too bad the Google owners weren't die hard 49er fans I'm sure they could give York a deal his silverspoon ass couldn't refuse.

Funny that Jim only got the Michigan job after it was turned down by Butch Jones. Who then proceeded to take one of their top running back recruits and Steve Deborg, who was a top recruiter. Jim's got his work cut out for him the next couple of years. Hopefully he'll be stomping Meyer's ass before long.
uh Michigan has been after Jim for years. Jim got the job because he was available. Brady Hoke was a plan B when Harbs went to the 9ers, every other coach they look at was a plan B. It's always been Jim's job for the taking.
Michigan offered Butch Jones the job in December, while Jim was busy tanking our season, and he turned them down. It was in the news, lol. So, it wasn't, in fact, his job for the taking, he's at least the second guy to have been offered the job.

He's an overrated coach that couldn't make halftime adjustments, manage a play clock, or adjust when his neolithic offense was figured out. He was more flash than substance, and I laugh at anyone who thinks otherwise.

But the front office leaking s**t about their head coach all season long and then having the nerve to bring up "class and integrity" as points of emphasis, as if the only problem was Harbaugh isn't shady at all........right.
I don't blame Harbaugh for getting tired of the silver-spoon fed runt launching broadsides at him and coming up with a bunch of pure b******t that ultimately put him in a bad light. Like Harbaugh or not, the way the front office handled this whole situation was pure amateur hour.

Not surprisingly, players know where to go to get pro-ready and are flocking to the blue.
He has a s**t ton of players from Stanford in the NFL.
