I would love for a deal to happen today. If the players don't like something and they want to counter with something else then SEND A COUNTER BACK TODAY! Don't wait till Tuesday to say we don't like this deal. The proposal is pretty much the same except for some minor changes. Come up with a counter proposal by mid-day and say No thanks, this is what we want.

So does that just means the 3rd QB is the 46th player? How does the change anything? Do teams with only two QB's get to have an extra active player?

you need a reality check. The average NFL player lasts 3 years. They can be bought out at any time. They are jeopardizing their long term health -- both mental and physical -- for our enjoyment.

Their retierment benefits are terrible; former players are currently suing the NFL because their pensions can't cover the massive health care expenses incured from a life of playing professional football for a pittance

Yes players are paid well, but what's the solution? funnel more money up to a group of 32 billionaires?

I guess the players should just do what they're told, like good boys, and sign a document they havent even been briefed on.

It is a difference of opinion.

My point on this article was that the players need a reality check because they are playing it like it is them vs. the man. Like normal people can relate to the fight they are fighting.
