Not deny, debate on the merits of the deal, more likely.

Remember, the deal the NFL ratified was THEIR OWN DEAL and not the one proposed by the NFLPA...

I assume that translates into Obviously we have not been a part of those discussions... does that mean they do not approve?

Albert Breer: Dominique = As influential a guy as there is in the NFLPA. RT @TorreySmithWR: Just got off the phone with @Foxworth24....IM HYPEDDDD!!!!!!
This is good news, but yea, the NFLPA still has to agree on this as well. I hope they agree tonight and we can get back to football next week. I think the owner's are pretty sure that they will get the players' to vote for this, otherwise I doubt they would have approved it themselves at this point.

If they don't. The players will take a major pr hit. Since they were the ones claiming they just want to play football.
Mort saying the some players feel the owners are trying to back them into a corner with certain issues by approving their end of the deal.

Yeah, you have to love the owners' strategy here because they come out looking like the good guys to all the fans, and now all the pressure is on the players. I could definetely see some of the NFLPA being upset at this.
According to SI.com's Jim Trotter, "you can take it to the bank" that the players will not ratify the owners' proposal "as currently presented."
Commissioner Roger Goodell was left with the impression that NFLPA chief DeMaurice Smith will recommend the proposal to his constituents, but the player reps aren't ready to recertify just yet. NFL Network's Jason LaCanfora reports there are still at least "four or five" outstanding issues in the NFL's tentative document. Several player reps have told ESPN that they are "unhappy" that the owners' actions have "painted us into a corner." The bottom line is that there is still negotiating left to do.

I'm sure that's what they intended but I still want them to get it over with

f**k 'em, if they wanna play football, they can agree; if not, they can go f**k themselves and get heated.

I didn't see who it was, but somebody on ESPN just said that if this deal was a car sale, they are currently haggling over the floor mats. The deal will get done, but they have to get this little stuff agreed on first, and it may not be tonight.
