"Not worried about fans perceptions" regarding vote being in players court
"Not going to be put under the fire to make a decision, not up against any time constraints, but we believe deal is good"
"Hope deal is approved tonight"

Seriously, without the fans you don't get paid millions of dollars to play a f**kING GAME! Get over yourself.

Ya, someone should tell this guy to f**k off.
They take us for granted. This is football, this isn't some essential service. They make huge bank as it is. None of us feel for them in this at all.
They seriously need a reality check.

dkaplanSBJ: The player revenue share must average at least 47 percent during the 10 years.
- Revenue sharing will be different based on where the revenues come from, ranging from NFL ventures, media and clubs.
- Pash: No opt outs in this deal. That is somewhat of a surprise.
- Pash: personal conduct policy stays in effect. drug testing remains to be finalized.
- Pash: wont direct answer on outcome of lockout insurance case, says expectation is all litigation is resolved.
- Pash: points to new health and safety rules and medical benefits as key wins for the players, points out only possible if there is a union.
- Clubs will get credits for stadium investments.
- 99% cash minimum spend requirement in 2011-2012; 95% for rest of deal. Big "get" for Players.

Wow man. This off season has shown some true colors or certain players. Arrogant pricks who obviously take what they have for granted.

adbrandt: Cap number of $120.375M would go into place Wednesday. Teams would have until then to release/restructure to get under the cap.

How can people say its just a game? It's not an essential service? The same proplee saying this are the ones refreshing their browser all day for any speck of news. SoMe people do need a reality check. The NFL and players know America needs this game. They just got done f**king is in the ass for 2 months anf we can say we're mad and they need to get real, but the second football is back we'll come crawling back on our knees.

Jay_Glazer: I'm hearing De Smith telling players he thinks the agreement is a good, fair deal. Still remains to be seen if the players vote it through though

I'm gonna put my 'gut' on the table, I got that "close" feeling. -The Owners wouldn't of even voted on a deal unless they knew D-Smith, and the NFLPA would play ball and get it done tonight.

DonBanks But why do I feel this thing's not over? Maybe because silence from players side might speak volumes. We'll soon see if that sense is wrong.

And, with the media hype associated with it, the players would be doing some serious damage to their image by not signing it. Kind of pigeon-holed them... but good for us!

SI_JimTrotter there were outstanding issues that had yet to be resolved, and the players are not going to ratify the proposal w/o those being addressed.
