From what I understand, the players actually have until next week to vote YES on this. If they go past Wednesday, which is the tentative start date then there will be serious problems.

The players shouldn't be surprised the owners are in a hurry to get it done because they want to salvage the preseason and the money that comes from it.

I mean what a double standard. Here you're out there proclaiming you aren't on the owners timeline and will do things as you see fit so why are you angry when the owners are acting as they see fit and on own their timeline.
