These dates are not concrete, if the NFLPA votes it through in an hour, the season could begin no later than Monday for all we know (the re-certification could go really fast the moment the doors open Saturday).

Didn't see this posted yet, but Free Agency begins Wednesday according to NFLN.
NFLPA better not eff this up.

Announcing a tentative schedule, but all pending recertification by the players.
Free agency could start Wednesday, team facilities open this Sat.
All waiting for the decision on the Brady/Brees lawsuit, then players vote. Seem to be a bunch of people sending out signals that, as a minimum, players are going to stall/delay.

IT will start adjacent to the league year, but only under the condition of the re-certification (completion).

Adam Schefter: In an email to player reps, the NFL is demanding that NFLPA re-form as a union and provide evidence by Tuesday, July 26.

Players unable to have franchise tag limited to one time per player. They said they aren't happy about it, but it's not worth holding this deal up.

But I thought that was what Brees/Manning demanded (amongst the plaintiffs)???

So would free agency start on Wednesday? It will be an exciting time, having to fit a few months of transactions into a few days
