NFLPA is waiting for the Owners to vote, this is what it's all about; then they're (Execs) gonna vote tonight.

the nflpa is now saying it could take up to 2 weeks 2 recertify, and there cant be a new cba until they do. i hope this isnt true, but its on pft. i was patient and with the players, but this is a joke if this is true. maybe some of these players wana miss camp

There's either gonna be a vote tonight for the CBA on their part, a vote to re-unionize (or both).

even if they vote 2night to recertify, i think they are saying the process would take around 2 weeks to get all the forms signed(even with all the technology we have). i hope im wrong and this gets done today, but if feel like the players are in no rush. dsmith and their dbag lawyers are most the problem imo.

About 1,000 players made minimum salary last year, its time a 1,000 of those players step up and speak against their reps. Seems like the top players in the league are only out for themselves.

best news i have seen all day. i hope this is legit, i am really growing tired of this

dkaplanSBJ: Told owners will vote on a global deal here today and essentially hand it off to the players to say sign or don't sign, this is it. This was the late Gene Upshaw's tack in 2006 when he was on a flight to Hawaii, leaving owners to either accept terms or reject. they accepted.

Unclear if some of the unresolved issues will be left open ended with commissioner having authority to resolve. These issues include the franchise tag, media fees case. I am not hearing right now the $320 M is an issue at the moment. We reported that in SBD this morning.

Which explains the prompt readiness on DeMaurice's end with the Execs (ready for a global/electronic vote). -It's all or nothing tonight (otherwise we'll be deadlocked for two more weeks), s**t's gonna get pretty interesting around 10 P.M ET.

with that being said, i have assumed all along the owners would vote and aprove the new cba 2day. i am still worried about the nflpa delaying the process.
@adbrandt Re-certifying as a union is procedural; bigger issue is if Players are questioning whether to do so, giving NFL exemption from antitrust.
