the Niners look like a great draft this year compared to 2010---is it that Baalke learned from his mistakes--the Singletary influence is gone---or the Harbaugh influence came on?

Well with Balmer, and Mays, looking like A Davis and Rachal, we've made some HORRIBLE draft picks. Hopefully the new regime does better. I blame Sing and Nolan and McCloughan or whatever his name is.

I would bet that pick is a 5th at best and more likely a 6th.
Just would be a damn shame to take anything less. Mays was raw but he has alot of potential and a serious work ethic. Trading him for a low draft pick after 1 year is disappointing. Its not like we had a full camp or Fangio watched any game tape. I can see us looking like clowns in a few years over this trade.

Hell even a fifth round pick (if that is what it is) is not bad...Better than a fifth string safety.
